How We Make Coffee
We both enjoy coffee and wanted to figure out the best way to make coffee without using a lot of electricity, without using a lot of storage, and without making a big mess. Here's what we do. Oh, and we both agree the coffee tastes better!
1. A Kettle
We got a Dr. Hetzner electric kettle. It's definitely not the only one, but it works for us. It uses 1000 watts, heats to 212 in under 5 minutes, stays warm for a long time, and takes up minimal space.
2. AeroPress
An AeroPress like a French press I think. You just put the ground coffee in with a filter, add water, and press into a mug. To clean you just push the grounds through and wipe clean. It's so easy.
3. Yeti Mugs
Obviously, any mug will do, but the AeroPress fits on these Yeti mugs perfectly, AND they are short, so they fit in the drawer with the other coffee stuff. Easy.
