Ohio

We spent the last few days with our good friends in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio near Akron. We packed a lot into a few days and Miss Lucy is exhausted! We had a blast because this area had a little bit of everything we love: dog friendly swimming holes, good food, breweries, and great human and furry friends.

DOG FRIENDLY SWIMMING: Lucy and her buddy Hank spent the day at Bow Wow Dog Beach and played HARD. It was HOT while we were in Ohio, so this swimming hole was perfect to tire out the pups and cool them off at the same time. Plus, we all know how much Miss Lucy loves swimming! 10/10 would recommend! They even had doggie showers when you leave!

GOOD FOOD: Whether it was our hosts spoiling us with great home cooking or taking us to great restaurants, I definitely left there full! There was a lot of talk of this chicken Parmesan crust pizza from Tre Belle, and it did not disappoint! The food bar is set high for the rest of our trip!

BREWERIES: We noticed that a lot of the breweries here not only served food, but served GOOD food. The beers were all really good too! We hit up a 26th best brewery in the world called Hoppin' Frog. I loved it. They had a lot of crazy flavors like margarita, hot pepper mango, and jalapeño. Actually, every brewery our amazing hosts took us to was great. Some of the others we went to were:

• Missing Falls- great beers and wings, plus they let pups inside because it was raining

• Missing Mountain- great beers (peanut butter and jelly and prince juice were great) and cauliflower pizza with a great patio and view.

• Craft Social- not really a brewery, but good beers and good bar food and if you ask Lucy, good comfy outdoor couches to nap on

GREAT HUMANS AND FURRY FRIENDS: When we weren't eating and drinking our way through Ohio we got to catch up with good friends and their pup, Hank! Mr. and Mrs. Big Friend "rolled out the red carpet" with neighbors who share their bourbon, invited us to backyard bonfires, and changed with their blinds open haha! Hank and Lucy played hard all weekend. They even went to a puppy party in the park!
