Where the Buffalo or Bison Roam

Is it buffalo or bison? I'm not sure yet. Google left me with more questions than answers. Anyway, we finished our trip in Maryland visiting family and friends, and we are making our way to Ohio to see more friends! So, we decided to stop tonight at another farm in West Virginia using Harvest Host again. This time we chose a Buffalo/Bison Farm. When we arrived the owner, Jeremy, met us in the driveway. We toured the farm with him and two of his dogs, Vixen and Ellie. We got to see all of the bison, asked tons of questions, and learned a lot. When we got to the house we met Henry his HUGE Newfie. The property used to be owned by a family with six kids, and they homeschooled their kids in a little school house on the property. Jeremy converted it into a cute store with meat (of course), shirts, post cards, and other bison related gifts.

Our spot to park for the night was private, level, and thought out. He had a hammock, fire pit with logs, and a picnic table. He said this is all new to him and he plans on adding horseshoes and corn hole soon. (Is that it's East Coast name? I've heard people call it tons of other things.)

When it gets dark he said the star gazing is really cool, so we invited him to join us later for a few drinks and to check out the stars! Actually, headed out now, and I'll figure out if we are on a buffalo farm or a bison farm.
